Care Homes In The Scottish Borders

Each of our four care homes in the Scottish Borders offers small, personalised care that’s tailored to the resident and aims to make our home your home.

We provide residential and nursing care in one of the most beautiful settings in the UK. With homes in Galashiels, Jedburgh, Peebles and Melrose, our expert local care teams provide safe, supportive environments to help all our residents live the best life possible.

Our Scottish Borders Care Homes

Each home is small by design. This means residents are known as individuals, staff relationships are consistent, and families are included every step of the way. Find out more about each of our care homes in the Scottish Borders below, and get in touch with the team to book our visit.

Why Choose Mansfield Care in the Scottish Borders?

We understand that choosing a care home isn’t just a practical decision, it’s an emotional one too. Many families come to us in a time of crisis in need of clarity and reassurance. That’s why we keep our homes small so that, unlike large institutions, they feel like a family home. Each is staffed by highly trained, compassionate professionals and we maintain consistently high Care Inspectorate ratings. Our convenient locations across the Borders mean families can visit their relatives more often, with less travel, and we’re very proud of the relationships our staff also build with them.

Life in Our Scottish Borders Care Homes

While each of our Borders homes is distinct, they all have a single priority: putting our residents first. Each has a dedicated activities coordinator that works with residents to organise the things that bring them joy, whether that be a trip to Edinburgh Woolen Mill, a local lunch or even just a quiet afternoon in the gardens.

At every Mansfield Care home, we treat dining as an experience to look forward to, and ensure our residents are served fresh nutritious meals made from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. As well as a full breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Our chefs work with residents to design menus in advance so there is always something for every taste.
