Galahill House Celebrates Strong Care Inspectorate Report

We’re delighted to share the positive findings from the recent unannounced Care Inspectorate inspection at Galahill House in Galashiels.
The inspection, which took place in June, looked at several key areas of care and support. We are proud to report the following ratings:
- Very Good for supporting people’s wellbeing
- Very Good for care and support planning
- Very Good for our staff team
- Good for leadership
- Good for the care home setting
These ratings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of Home Manager Jenny Hunter and her team, who consistently strive to provide high-quality, person-centred care in a warm and welcoming environment.
To mark the occasion, residents and staff came together to enjoy a small celebration at the home, a well-deserved moment to reflect on everyone’s contribution to this success.
We’re incredibly proud of the Galahill team and thank them for their continued commitment to providing excellent care.
